Stacy Brown
CEO
Stacy Brown is a proud mother of two sons, a loving wife, and a dedicated professional with a passion for helping people. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and has had a successful career in the healthcare and medical technology sectors. Stacy founded and ran her own medical agency, specializing in supporting operating room (OR) procedures, where she was committed to ensuring the highest standards of care and safety. She also served as a Clinical Educator in the surgical safety space, sharing her expertise to help improve outcomes for both patients and medical teams. Currently, as a Regional Director for a medical tech company, Stacy drives innovation and leads initiatives to expand the company’s impact in the healthcare industry. Outside of her professional accomplishments, Stacy enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors, finding joy in nature and quality moments with her family. With a heart for service, Stacy strives to make a positive difference in everything she does.
Thomas Brown
COO – DIRECTOR OF BODY AESTHETICS
Thomas Brown is a Navy veteran and proud University of Florida graduate, with a career spanning clinical care and healthcare innovation. He began his journey as a cardiac sonographer, holding registries in adult cardiac, pediatric cardiac, and vascular ultrasound. This deep clinical experience has given Thomas invaluable firsthand experience in patient care — insight that would later inform his leadership as a Senior Vice President in the Medical Technology sector, where he worked with and launched some of the most advanced medical technologies in the world. Driven by a passion for transforming healthcare, Thomas completed the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Executive Program in AI in Healthcare, deepening his expertise at the intersection of medicine and emerging technology.
Like many professionals, Thomas faced the challenge of balancing a demanding career with personal health, which led to weight gain and related issues. Determined to reclaim his well-being, he turned to weight loss medication, NAD+, and red-light therapies, achieving a remarkable transformation by losing 83 pounds, lowering his cholesterol, and bringing his blood pressure under control within just 7 months.
Through this journey, Thomas recognized a gap in the wellness space: the need for a practice that combines proven therapies, cutting-edge technology, and personalized care to equip every client with the tools they need to restore their health, confidence, and quality of life.
Inspired by this vision, Thomas founded BodyWorks, The Human Body Shop, a medical practice and combined medical spa that is rooted in compassion, lived experience, and evidence-based solutions. Thomas is dedicated to helping individuals take control of their health and live a longer, happier, and more capable life.
Tanya was born in Pennsylvania and has lived in 12 different states throughout her life, gaining a deep appreciation for people and places along the way. In 2013, she planted her roots in Woodstock, GA, where she happily calls home. Tanya is a proud mother of two and an “Oma” to two grandsons whom she adores.
An avid soccer player since childhood, Tanya continues to play and stay active. She enjoys taking fitness classes and a wide range of outdoor activities, including pickleball, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding — essentially anything that gets her outside. The beach is her favorite getaway, where she takes every opportunity to soak in the sun and sea.
As a young adult, Tanya envisioned becoming a dermatologist, drawn to the complexities and beauty of the skin. But when she became a young mother, she chose a different path—earning her esthetician license and beginning her career in the spa industry. Life eventually led her into the real estate industry, where she spent nearly 20 successful years helping clients with their housing needs.
Throughout her real estate career, Tanya’s passion for beauty and wellness never faded. Her own personal wellness journey deepened over time and ultimately brought her back to the industry she had always loved. Today, as our VP of Client Services, Tanya combines her natural empathy, decades of client experience, and genuine passion for wellness and beauty to provide exceptional care and connection to our clients. She is a valued member of the BodyWorks team and is excited to support our clients on their journey to looking and feeling their absolute best.
Tanya Pearce
VP – CLIENT SERVICES
As the Client Services Coordinator at BodyWorks, Ava is instrumental in delivering a seamless, elevated client experience from first touchpoint to follow-up care. With a discerning eye for detail and a deep appreciation for refined service, she ensures every interaction reflects the sophistication, warmth, and excellence that define the BodyWorks brand.
Grounded in esthetics and driven by a passion for beauty, lifestyle, and modern wellness, Ava brings a creative sensibility to everything she does. Her background spans modeling, photography, content creation, and creative direction, allowing her to contribute thoughtfully to both the client experience and the visual identity of the brand. This multidimensional expertise enhances BodyWorks’ aesthetic presence while reinforcing its commitment to intentional, results-driven care.
At Ava’s core, she is dedicated to helping clients feel confident, empowered, and their most radiant selves. Guided by a mindset of continuous refinement and growth, she believes that luxury is found in both experience and evolution. Her work reflects the philosophy that excellence is not confined to a single discipline, but is achieved through curiosity, craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Ava Thomas
CLIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR
Dr. Andrew Pugliese, MD
MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Andrew Pugliese, MD, is a triple-boarded physician in internal medicine, infectious disease, and sleep medicine. He has done extensive work in chronic sinusitis and has recently written a book titled The Manual for the Medical Management of Chronic Sinusitis: A Holistic Approach. Other fields of interest include mold exposure, chronic inflammation, and improving quality of life in the aging population. He has found that in many of these conditions, weight loss and proper hormone balance are major concerns in treating these underlying conditions.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid outdoor enthusiast who hunts, participates in mountain sports, and boxes.
Melita is a board-certified doctor of natural medicine with a rich background in nursing, natural health, and law. She’s passionate about helping others achieve whole-body wellness through functional approaches like supplements, food therapy, and peptides. Trained at Georgia State University and Trinity School of Natural Health, Melita focuses on personalized care that supports both physical and mental well-being.
After two years in Texas, she returned home to be near her daughter — reaffirming her belief that family and fulfillment go hand in hand. Outside of work, she enjoys pottery, yoga, hiking, and kayaking.
Now partnered with Thomas, Melita is excited to guide clients toward vibrant health. She welcomes you to join them and discover your full potential — wherever you are on your wellness journey.
